Butcher and the Brewer Reposado Aged Midnight Oil, a 13.5% Imperial Oatmeal Stout. "Aged 12 months in a Reposado barrel on cacao nibs, cinnamon, vanilla, chipotle and anejo peppers".
Truly delicious and drinkable, reminds me of the imperial stouts at The Answer. Great combination of sweet, spicy and all the goods.

Solid black with a thin tan chain, this starts light and sweet with a tingly carbonation that firmly fills the medium body. A chocolatey aroma leads into flavors of surprisingly light cinnamon and mild chili pepper with a touch of roasted cacao. It's not the heavy punch of MEXICAN STOUT that you normally expect these days, but it is quite nicely balanced towards the actual base, with a uniquely detectable tequila-flavored heat that does come out on the back end before the neatly dry finish. Well made.
