Beautiful crystalline reddish-copper, the thin, creamy khaki blanket leaves fluid, curvy arms of lace on the glass.
I came into this with low expectations, but the piney notes are not too bitter, and are met with toasted cracker and an almost sweet grapefruit and orange rind character. It's lightly dank and catty, but overall is a modern, approachable red.
Really clean and smoothly drinkable, the finish is semi-dry.
