Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass, this beer draws a very cloudy/hazy light golden color with practically no head at all, even when first drawn and served. Just a thin foam ring lining the inside of the glass. No lacing either. Aromas of some bready malts, guava notes, a bit of musty barnyard funk, and a bit of sourness. Has a very similar flavor profile, with beer some bready malt notes, guava, some barnyard, musty funk and sour notes with just slight a slight touch of salt. Has a mainly crisp, slightly prickly and slightly grainy, also fairly smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and slightly dry aftertaste.

This has a pale apricot-yellow look with no head, and isn't really all that much different from the actual apricot-flavored version. The guava is minimal, but does deliver a nicely floral, tropical fruitiness, but it's primarily a crisp, crackery tart Berliner sort of sour. Easy drinking and fittingly reminiscent of summer, so it's sure to be a crowd favorite.
