I am trying this beer at Double Overtime in Mt. Vernon, IL. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent had pear and melon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with white grape/chardonnay presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

From a white aluminum can, this brew is completely clear, with a prolific gold color. Agreeable foamy white head. The smell is fruity, with some yeast and grape must. Remarkably clean with an abrupt finish. This is a nicely drinkable, very approachable brute beer. For the IPA label, though, I expected a bit more assertive hop character.

Taste: slight hops, dry white wine, herbal, tangy white grapes, lime, some kick. Same with the dry nose. Pale golden hue, clear, with a delicate head and lace. Medium light body. Boozy at end.

Gold in color with with excellent clarity. There’s a fingernail of dishwater white around the rim and covering half of the top. I smell white grapes with a faint hint of citrus hops. I’m tasting white grape juice and faint grassy hops in the back of the palate. The mouth is moderately carbonated, dry, and crisp. This is not an IPA.

Pours a clear copper with a finger of white foam. Head is more of fizzy bubbles than foam. Aroma is lemongrass, white grapes, and herbal and floral hops with toast and nutty malts. Flavor profile is white grape, lemongrass and melon dew. Herbal and floral hops dress is up slightly with light toasty and nutty malts. Mouth feel is fizzy and effervescent with a light crispness. It has a medium thickness. Overall, some good qualities, but it tastes a bit off.
