A strong Bohemian pilsner brewed with Czech lager yeast. It pours a brilliant bright gold with creamy white head and features a crisp bitterness segueing into soft malt flavor.

MOTHER OF GOD

Meow, what we have right here is a SUPER brew. Say it: Car RamRod. This isn’t one of those cheap Afghani knockoffs, either. It’s a bonafide recidivist. It’s list of offenses include Impersonating a Session Beer and Unlawful Mustache Rides. You say you were headed for some french fries and some gravy? You’re used to driving on the autobahn? Canada, huh? Almost made it…

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a golden amber color with a tiny head of pure white foam. The head fades super fast leaving just a tiny trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a slightly grainy smell of wheat and cereal along with some other sweeter smells of corn and caramel. Along with these smells comes a little bit of an earthy hop and some light herb.
Taste – The taste starts out with a very cereal grain and somewhat more corny and caramel flavor. The flavor profile mimics a malt liquor in some ways with a little bit more complexity. As the taste advances some of the sweet fades a little bit all while some light hop of an earthy and herbal flavor meet the tongue. With a bit of booze and some alcohol tastes coming at the end, one is left with a quite wheaty/cerealy malt liquor like to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the thinner side for a beer of its strength with a carbonation level that is low. While the thin body was nice for the dank malt liquor tastes a higher carbonation level would have been slightly more refreshing. Overall the feel was OK
Overall – It’s a sorta malty and dankly hopped malt liquor like brew. While it is interesting and not bad, for the price point it is not really worth it. It is worth one try, but probably not too many more…

Bright golden body with fluffy white head; slight lacing.

Flavors are more or less as the label states; bitter hops are at the forefront followed by malt sweetness and some alcohol astringency??? Carbonation is really smooth, which helps bring out the hops and malt. It also brings out the booze, which I like.

Pretty good.
