This is in an old factory in Nordeast near the St. Paul border. There is a huge seating area and the crowd is a mix between neighbors and beer lovers, families, and friends. The beer selection is good and they offer some barrel aged stuff on tap not available anywhere else.

Another brewery hidden away in an old industrial park. The building itself is rather old, though you wouldn't know it from the inside. Nice spacious taproom, with laid back, yet modern feel. They have a decent patio area, and there's usually some solid food trucks outside. Had a decent tap selection the last time I was there, and prices we about normal for the industry. The beer is above average for a smaller brewery and the staff seems nice enough. Overall a solid choice to grab a few if your in the Twin Cities, I'm sure I'll return in the not so distant future.

A place that actually started out as a mess, but recovered and has really taken over since a re-branding and maybe a new brewer? They have a very nice space in an industrial part of Hennepin where they hold many events and frequently have food trucks. One major issue is their taproom and patio hold much more people than the parking space available. If they were to purchase a nearby lot, it would help a ton. Their beer really ranges a great degree of styles but they have really become known for their fruited saisons. They are also beginning to produce mixed fermentation sours. I expect this place to continue to grow and become and power in Minneapolis.

this place is huge! i had no idea how much beer they were making, its crazy, i thought they were operating on a much smaller scale. a huge old brick building houses a large brewery, canning operation, and expansive taproom. very cool repurposing of whatever happened here before beer. its always open, and its always bustling in my experience, packed even on a monday evening. they have a vast selection of beers in here across a range of styles, the have a cask on, they really do have something for everyone. the double dry hopped ipa was great, but the fruited saison series was the highlight for me, these guys are doing some really fun beers right now. very kind and knowledgeable staff in here too, they seemed to have an answer to all of my beer questions, and were happy to take the time. being as large as they are in here, i cant imagine its long before their beer starts trickling into other markets. i hope colorado is on the list, i think they would bring something unique here. looking forward to watching them grow, the beer is really solid.

Close to Hwy 280 and E Hennepin , an open Industrial style brewpub. Plenty of parking with an outdoor picnic table area, inside is a big curved bar with plenty of table seating as .well as booths. Serving sizes come in 3 types which i like as well as flights. The brew is good and available in pint cans at retail, growlers are for sale at brewery both n 64 oz and 750ml. Just wish they would have more variety on tap have been here 6 times or so and its always the same 6 brews on tap. A laid back setting that is kid friendly with games and a good vibe its worth a visit but brew is just average

Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Had very attentive service. Every beer on the sampler was a good representative of its style. Broad selection -- many fruity Belgian saisons (blackberry, cherry, raspberry) plus interesting range of "standards": Sauvignon blank saison, yuzu pale ale, citrus IPA, etc. Fun experience!

Didn't really have any traditional type brews imo. We went with the Golden, which got better over time, but still a little too malty for my liking. Not a bad place overall, just seems like they cater more towards the porters. Give it a shot though!

Insight should be better. The brewmaster seems truly inspired but they are trying to build a business around beers that are either a little ordinary or a little strange. Most baffling of all is the huge rebranding and renaming of all their beers after about a year of being in business. The original names were just fine, Like Chiswick Porter and Curiosity IPA, but I guess weren't deemed trendy enough. The new names have tried too hard. Yuzu Pale Ale is a name that makes sense, but now it is called Chapter XXXIII: The Garden of the Hell Chicken, why?

The Saison with wine grapes is good but nothing to go out of your way for. The bitter was a little one-dimensional. The yuzu fruit beer is interesting but not something that will become your regular. The porter is my favorite from them but even that tastes awfully generic.

In a town of really good beer, Insight just makes beer.

Very limited selection of mediocre beers. Meh. Yesterday was our third and last trip to this place. Living social or groupon won't even lure us back. Two distinctly impolite employees, too.

Open, inviting and fairly typical taproom. Brewery proper in the next room, with high visibility due to half the wall being high windows. Wide, semicircle bar with two tenders on a slow Sunday. A ton of boardgames to peruse and play. It was also nice to have booths to sit in. All the brews on tap were the 5 year-rounders, so limited selection. Saison was excellent. A bit out of the way, but accessible and easy parking.

Very nice place, well done. My wife thought Insight was a great place and that was after visiting a few in the area. Easy access and parking also.

Beer selection is unique and very good. Six beers on tap, all good and varied. Was quite impressed and will revisit soon.
