They had me at wild ale. I knew I had to end my day on one. On-tap at the source itself, on to the beer:

The beer is light orange colored with solid head retention on top. It smells promising, with a tart orange aroma and a very strong scent of orange peel. An orange sour ale? I like the way this is going...until I tasted it. I wonder how many oranges gave their life for this beer, because Beer Salvaje is full of them. Too many oranges, I assume. It comes out more like an orange ale than a wild ale. Oranges, oranges, orange peels, sweet orange, and more orange. Citrus bitterness. Orange you glad I didn't say orange? Oops!

I appreciate Good Beer Co. for trying to make a wild ale, though Beer Salvaje came out too much like scented household cleaner.
