The Captain escaped again. We chased him past the Club Tropicana flamingo farm and through the sticky Zaccharine atmosphere. Vengeance was ours. Finally. But no! He escaped. How can that Rocket do that?!! Next time, Captain... next time.

Copenhagen 26/3 2017. 33 cl bottle from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Cartoon-like label with floating Ice Bergs and helmeted guy. No apparent relation to the name of the beer.
Foamy upon opening - I had to be fast to avoid a puddle. Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with very big white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick creamy layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense and sweet and tart at the same time. Sugary lightly fermented fruit complemented by sharp sourness with citric notes.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor has a light sweetness followed by distinct bitter sourness. Aftertaste is sour and bitter. Lingering. Dry finish.
Nice Saison - on the sour side of the fence.

Brett in the smell with a nice hoppy presence. In the taste, the brett is much more subtle. The taste is a lot on the honey. No real saison attributes, no peppery presence for example. Not really sour as the name suggest either. Not bad but nothing spectacular
