Pours a hazy golden yellow ith fluffy head.
Smell is bready and a bit yeasty with notes of citrus, knäckebröd and a slight metallic hint.
Taste is bready and a bit yaty, rch with a soft bitterness. Notes of knäckebröd, toast, citrus and some sweet wheat dough.
Mouthfeel is medium, creamy and well carbonated.
Overall, a great Zwickl, let down slightly by the metallic hint.

0.5l bottle poured into a Willi Becher glass. Apricot candy on the nose, late summer breeze. Great amount of body without beeing heavy at all. Prosperous muddy fields. Fresh bamboo shoots. Oats, wheats and barley and several grassy notes I can't put my finger on, frech grass, clover and basicly the whole meadow. Brioche loaf. Delightfully light sweetness. I haven't been, but you can tell this was brewed in a beatiful place.
This is one of the good ones, one of the beers you live to drink. If this was available to you, it would also be the only beer you would ever need. Simple, yet balanced and complex like few, this is what all beer should aspire to be.
