This place is not near Old Town or all the big breweries, but it is a must. Love the vibe. The selection is great. I love to see a brewery that doesn't have 3 NEIPAs and 2 IPAs and an Imperial IPA. German and other European styles are so diverse. Friendly and helpful servers. When I travel I usually try to hit as many different breweries as possible, however, I'll return to Zwei every time i come back to Fort Collins.

This was an easy location to get to. Ample parking. Nice outdoor patio. They had 10 lagers and 10 ales on tap. I stuck to the lagers and had the Pils, Helles, Export, Rauch bock, Dunkel and Marzen. They were all exceptional and I would highly recommend them. They know what they are doing. I took a howler of the marzen with me. I had the opportunity to talk shop with the brewer and gather some tips to perfect my homebrewed lagers. No off flavors or aromas and their $2 sampler pours are very generous, probably 6-7 oz. Excellent place to drink some fresh, authentic lager.

Nice spacious patio, a dozen or so place inside plus a bar, so this place can entertain a pretty good crowd, maybe 1/3 capacity st 3:30 pm. Decent beers, friendly service, good music played lowly in the back ground. I could see myself being a regular at a place like this.

i loved this place, and not because of the vibe, it could be any taproom around fort collins, german beer, a smallish space that feels very working to me, a little patio, some visible tanks, oddly a surfboard hanging in the middle of the room, not sure the connection there, its unremarkable as cool as it feels, its all about the beer in here. i was blown away to see such a big selection of beers in a place so tied to german tradition, like prost and bierstadt would do well to offer this many different brews! they must have had a dozen or more. i loved the weiss, like straight fell in love with it, i mean, its perfect beer in every way. the keller helles was a cool touch too, and they had a bunch of less conventional german types as well, all of the highest quality, at least from what i got to drink. service was awesome, dude knew his stuff, was stoked on the beers, and was happy to chat. i dont know why or how it has taken me so long to finally make it in here to check it out, but the beer is expert, maybe the best german beer happening in the state right now the weiss is absurdly good, not to be missed! ill be back for more of that one...

Great Brewery. The staff is very knowledgeable and know their beer. Great beer selection, they have an American line and a German line. One of my favorite breweries!

Really neat beer drinking spot. Located adjacent to a bike shop in a little retail outcropping building a parking lot, Zwei is small, with large beer hall benches, and a short bar. A short wall holds a chalk board with the tap list. Beyond that wall is the brew equipment. A handful of garage doors open up the dark space to the outdoors offering fresh air. The staff was friendly on both visits, offering up suggestions for recommended beer, and even chatting about beer styles. Selection was limited to German beers, but spanned the full variety of German styles.

V-Zwei looks and feels like a typical suburban brewery with a strip-mall-type location just south of Ft. Collins. There is a nice little patio sitting on the parking lot out front, and a decent sized space inside with wood hi-top tables and small bar. The brewing equipment, including some cool copper kettles, peeks out from behind the bar. The crowd was mostly locals when I visited on a Tuesday during happy hour. It started out pretty empty, but the tables filled a little before I left. Nothing special, but friendly enough.
Q-While the vibe was fine, the beers I tried were pretty great. I had pours of the pils, the Vienna lager, and tastes of dunkelweizen and the Munich dunkel. I brought home a crowler of the dunkel. The dunkelweizen was my least favorite, but even that beer rated above average.
Ser-The two bartenders clearly knew about the beers they were pouring and the pours were done properly with the correct amount of head in appropriate glassware. I love when I can get a pils in a stang glass! That being said, one of the servers was a little surly; not mean, just short tempered or grumpy. Oh well.
Sel-Zwei had 14 beers on when I visited. Half the lineup was dedicated to German styles and they had a good spread of light, dark, wheat, ale, and lager offerings. The other half was IPA heavy with a Belgian or two. Nice to see variety and all were brewed in-house; no guest taps.
O-These guys make great German beer. I will definitely be back when I can get back up to FoCo.

Great brewery with German style beers. Their beer reminds me of when I lived in Germany. Great place to hang out with friends over a few beers.

A wonderful little brewery that offers some of the best German lagers I've had, as well as some American and Belgian styles. The staff were friendly, the bar was full of cheerful regulars, and the beer was fantastic. The Dunkel and Rauchbier were highlights.

This establishment is now known as Zwei Brewing, to eliminate the legal/trademark confusion with Two Brothers ("zwei bruder" auf Deutsch). Great little place on the south side of Ft. Collins. Their specialty is German style beers, but they have a good number of "indigenous" recipes for our enjoyment as well.

If you like German beers this is the place to go. I tried their Helles, Hefeweizen, Fest and Dunkel Hefweizen ($2 per taste) and thought I was back in Germany. They have a beer garden which was a nice place to hang out on a warm September evening and the food is from a food truck which I didn't try but my table mates seemed to think was okay. I really liked the Helles so decided to get a second offering.

Right off the main thoroughfare in Fort Collins- authentic German style lagers at the head of the beir list. Currently 5 lagers on tap. Accompanying aforementioned are 2 German weissbiers and a nice selection of American styles to round out the selection to please any crowd. Definitely a must visit for the 'Lager Seeker'!
