Beautifully balanced Marzen style lager. Malty, slight bready mouthfeel with a crisp finish.

6 oz draft pour at Neo Pizza in Annapolis. Appearance is light caramel with a creamy head. Aroma and flavor feature toasty/bready/caramel malt, pumpernickel, and light earthy/floral hops. It's similar to Sam Adams Octoberfest, but not quite as sweet and more complex. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Overall this is a stellar brew and one that I'd love to drink a couple of around a campfire on a crisp fall evening.

From the can, it pours a clear amber color with a nice off-white head that slowly reduces. The nose gets a light bit of citrus and malt. The mouth gets a light malt flavor with notes of roast and caramel.

This was a "new to me" beer. So glad I picked some up.
Poured into a clear chalice-like glass. The pour was a deep golden color with a haze. The head was about an inch thick of a white color that thinned out quickly. The taste to me was exceptional. Overall, this was definitely one I'll be drinking again.

16 ounce can poured into a dimpled mug.
This ones pours slightly cloudy and remains that way as it warms. The copper pour is capped with an inch and a half of cream-white foam, retention is good and it takes a few minutes for it to reduce to a thin cap. There is a large bready aroma that quickly disappears after the pour and leaves behind only weak spice and orange along with faint mineral notes.
Taste is semi-dry and fairly balanced, perhaps leaning a little bit to hop. Malt flavor is low and the only specific flavor I can discern is light toasted grain while spicy/herbal hop flavor is more pronounced. Bitterness is mild. As it warms it becomes a little more sharp with alcohol flavor and aroma become apparent. Mouthfeel is medium-light and somewhat soft with moderate carbonation bringing a touch of crispness in the middle before it drops off to a quick clean finish.
Overall, a mediocre Marzen, there is nothing offensive it is just a little bland.

Marzens are my favorite beer style by far, and this one was good, but basically completely unremarkable in any way. It's nice for a cozy autumn day, but if you drink it right after any real German Oktoberfest, you're going to be let down.

Poured from a can into a glass. I got the 6 pack on kind a discount, and it's January so this probably isn't the freshest brew. Nevertheless.
Id call it a fairly medium amber, with a nice, frothy head. It's very light on the tongue, goes down quite easily, with a mild flavor. It's a little sweet, not too grainy, but with just a little bite. It's a really easy beer to drink/

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours red orange with a white head that dissipates very quickly. Smells of fruitiness with dark roasted malt. Tastes of dark roasted grain with fruity notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall a very good beer.
