Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Rusted pale amber, with hints of light chestnut brown and some degree of clarity. Off white topped head, really picking up a bit of the body color and coming out hinted tan in appearance. Easily three fingers and some light lacing.
Aroma isn't particularly hop forward. Flour and dry malt notes prominantly with an odd pine hot bitterness hinting on the nose that comes out very chemical sensing unfortunately.
Palate seems kind of odd. Slight hits of bitter grapefruit, but more of a dry flour almost burnt malt flavor that dominates. Some more touches of pine and classic grapefruit comes as the beer warms up and settles, letting the sharp bitterness become more tolerable.
There's some degree of quality here, but the flavor is really muddy unfortunately, if that is the best way I could describe it.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of citrus and piney hops. Tastes of piney and citrus hops, just a little floral feel. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
