Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours deep orange with a small white head. Smells of coffee and sweet grain. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, and fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

DATE: June 5, 2022... prepping for the final week of school after a great weather/sports/family weekend--liquid inspiration needed... pours a pretty clear orange amber body rife with bubbles of varying sizes... its head begins as three fingers of soft white cloud before compacting to a finger's worth of dimpled snow... vanilla, pepper, coffee bean, and tobacco--this smells like a wake-up call, if you were sleeping in a cigar bar... its creaminess is pleasant and appropriate, with its texture suggesting weight and not misappropriated ingredients... smooth yet thick, it offers a friendly, lingering finish, albeit with some acidity... for a beer with this ABV, the experience is not overstated, its milkiness filling but not off-putting... its profile is engaging, warming with the coffee and tobacco two-step that is the reason for drinking this... some lemon, resin and tartness is present... a mutt of a style that has more than enough redeeming qualities to be appreciated, it makes good on its label's art of being a big, impactful, steadfast presence...
