1 Pint can poured into Pilsner glass (is this correct drink-ware for this style?)
The immediate thing I noticed is the lack of head, but I believe I may not have agitated it enough in the pour; granted I feel like Helles are typically on the fizzier side anyways and I didn't want it to bubble over. There is also a lack of lacing for the most part.
However aside from the look (not my biggest concern), this beer is quite solid. Great malty smell with a bit of yeast coming through. Taste hits the mark as well; very malty with just enough hop balance going on. And just a tiny bit of sulfur that adds some complexity. It's supremely crushable despite feeling fairly full in body, the 5.43% is perfect for this style.
Overall a good example of this style, though maybe not special enough to seek out. But if I saw this at a bar or restaurant I would not hesitate to spend the extra for getting it on tap.
