After a good solid pour, Urbanus looks great with a two finger thick tan head, and a cleanly filtered ruby red colored body. The only complaint is that the retention is that great, but some remains to form decent lacing.
The aroma is sweet vanilla and bready bluntness. There seems to be an undertone of a cherry fragrance too.
The taste is sweet and vanilla upfront, with a slightly nutty character in the middle, and an herbal finish.
The feel of this brew is coarse at first, but delves into a slight syrup character. In the finish the alcohol is detectable.

BB 06-07-06. Nice and lasting yellow head and dark brown with amber shine beer that's cristal clear. Nose is very estery( ripe apple and banana) and yeast phenolic with lots of alcohol. Good maltyness next to it making it caramellic sweet and overal fresh and very enjoyable. Taste is also fine but quiet sweet and bombastic. Lost of caramel and probably some fermentable sugars as well still in the brew. Nice grassy maltyness with it and alcohol well noticable. Moderate bitterness in aftertaste. Very full and litle sticky mouthfeel that's enhanced by low carbonisationlevel. Great drinkable and enjoyed every sip of this fine bock.
