Faint aroma and and pungent bitter/sour taste. Color is the right dark golden for a marzen. Head is a thin oily skin. Taste of hay, but tanginess is distracting.

Appearance: Rich clear amber body with good effervescence; very thin white head that dissipates quickly.
Smell: Clean, citrus smell with notes of grass and malt.
Taste: Sweet, very well-balanced lager with caramel and apple. The hops kick in in the middle with a bite to balance the sweet. Astringent but not overpowering aftertaste that lingers at the back of the throat.
Mouthfeel: Pleasant--creamy but not oily, with nice bubbles that linger throughout the session.
Overall: A very enjoyable Oktoberfest-style beer.

I blind tasted this beer during a tasting session in the Mug ( a Dutch pub in Middelburg).
A - A cracking clear, super thin headed (just say no head), non carbonated beer!!! Yes its water!
S - A light pilsener kind of smell, not special, a little sweet.
T - Light sweet, not really bitter.
M - Not enough body, medium carbonated.
O - Not really special, but tasted wise it's ok.
