Pours a beautiful amber red with a creamy off-white head. Very "hoppy" on the nose with a pleasant undercurrent of toasted malt. The sharp piney hop flavor gives way to a pleasant slightly sweet caramel finish with just a hint of astringent citrus.
The first glass was good the second ... outstanding.
