On tap at Stoneyard Brewing Company in Webster, NY.
This one pours a dark black, but not impenetrably so, with a small white head, and just a little bit of lacing.
Smells like slightly gummy vanilla, smoke, and a bit of roasted malt.
This isn't the most complex beer you've ever had, but it's still tasty. The vanilla flavor is nice, but does feel just a bit gummy and slightly artificial. There's not enough roasted malt flavor, but what's there is definitely nice. It's slightly smoky, with a mildly bitter finish.
This is medium bodied, a little lighter and thinner than I'd want, with a good level of carbonation.
If the base was beefed up a bit, this would be a lot better. It's certainly enjoyable, but it's nothing that'll make you come back for more.

This was one of the better beers in my flight but once again was too sweet, which I found to be a theme with their beer (across multiple styles too).

Good taste and aroma. Started off a little bitter, but became quite drinkable. Fairly decent, yet standard stout.
