On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

Hayburner is one of my favorite always available "local" IPAs, and this is a pretty interesting take on the standard. There's a lot of marijuana and grassy bitterness, along with the big juicy tropical character you expect from a Citra-heavy IPA.

This is light bodied, crisp and clean, with a very nice drinkability.

This doesn't exactly beat regular Hayburner for me, but it's still a tasty little beer.

Limited edition (to celebrate 100th batch?) of Hayburner IPA made with Citra hops. Floral and aromatic w/ citrus and pine notes, light malt body, light bitterness at the end with a crisp finish. Late addition aroma hops are the strongest and most surprising element, reminiscent of West Coast IPAs, but the light malt and very light bitterness more of New England style. Easy drinker even for those not drawn to IPAs. Highly recommend trying if you're in the Buffalo area.
