Fall Black is made with German and American malts and hops and brewed with California Common yeast. Despite it's dark color, it is suprisingly light on the palate. It features a subtle roast character, smooth bready malts, and slightly spicy hops.

On tap at Big Ditch Brewing in Buffalo, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like dark bready malts, pumpernickel, spicy hops, black tea, chocolate, and roast.
The last two times I've been to Big Ditch, I've wanted to try this one, and it has just kicked. So I'm happy to finally actually try this one wonderful little dark lager. It's roasty and toasty, with some hop spice, and black tea-like spice, along with dark chocolate, and a very crisp finish.
This is light bodied, slightly creamy, and super drinkable, with a smooth and crisp finish.
This style is always going to make me happy.
