Our "Innovation Series" are new beers we brew in only small pilot batches in the brewery. This beer is a twist on a traditional German-style Gose, which are usually light and refreshing sour beers made with wheat and an added touch of saltiness. We added German and English chocolate malts, caramel wheat, and oats to our gose to give it some malt balance. The result tastes sort of like a chocolate-covered sourdough pretzel.
