This beer is a traditional Bavarian-style hefeweizen brewed with wheat, oats, and spicy German yeast, with over 1500 pounds of fresh watermelon added. The delicate clove and banana flavors from the yeast are complimented with a spritz of fresh melon flavor resulting in an extremely refreshing beer.
MALT: Pilsner, White Wheat, Flaked Oats
HOPS: Huell Melon

Served on tap in a 13 oz (384 ml) goblet at the Big Ditch Brewing in Buffalo, NY.
A: Pours an slight hazy, orange color with a less than one finger, off-white head, no more than rim retention, and nearly no lacing.
S: Aromas of funk, earthiness, and barnyard.
T: Fairly dry. Watermelon and its rind, front and center, with cracker and biscuit in the background and at the end. No bitterness to speak of.
M: Light to medium bodied with low carbonation.
O: Hefeweizen elements not at all in evidence: essentially a dry, fruit beer.
