Burning a day is a beautiful thing. That's the idea behind Dayburner, a refreshing all-season IPA that boasts a taste (and name) complementary to our flagship IPA. It has citrus flavor, delicious drinkability and a smooth finish suited for days you never want to end.
MALT: 2-ROW, carapils, flaked oats

I expected this to be a lot less than it turned out to be. Pale murky yellow appearance with a fizzy fleeting head. Fruity, citrusy session IPA with decent body and crisp mouthfeel. Really good session.

just my second beer from these guys, a tasty session hazy, nice hop profile, still with some bitterness, not overdone, and packing the multigrain textural richness without it being heavy form hazy, nicely done if not totally expertly dialed it. starchy looking pale yellow but still bright, frothy churned up white head, lace on the edges of the glass, good carbonation. notes of herbal hops, white grape, clean lemon, and what is obviously some citra hops in the drivers seat, juicy and not green, some oats evident too, good balance, nothing from the yeast at all. the flavor follows, lemongrass, tangerine zest, white grapefruit, a little white tea and floral character too, a little oily hop feel, bitterness ramping up halfway through, clean finish for a hazy, with just a little bite which i dont mind in the style. this is session beer without compromise, plenty of grain body, bright hops, and textural appeal, not one of those soulless things that have come to dominate the style. still a little beefy for summer, but appealing compared to the bigger examples of the style in hot weather. enjoyable, well made, and it makes me want to track down more from these guys. a lovely lakeside pint!

From a can from Wegmans with an October 6, 2022 date on the bottom. The taste and feel are surprisingly good on my deck on a beautiful spring evening. It is low ABV, but does not come across watery.

From a mixed 12pk. Canned Oct 6 2022. Let sit out for 6-8 minutes before opening.

Hazy yellow, with one finger of white head. Looks like fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice.

Smell is grapefruit, and a bit of crackery malt aroma. As the head fades , slight pineapple aroma becomes apparent.

Taste is grapefruit, lemon, lime, slight pineapple, and candied mango. Moderate bitterness.

Feel is light, but not watery, and a bit juicy. I would have guessed higher abv (6-6.2%?) if I had tried it blind. Moderate , fine, sharp carbonation. Drying finish, that lingers awhile. Despite being 2 months old, there is still an astringent feel at the back of the throat, that I normally associate with hop burn in very fresh DNEIPAs. Thankfully, it fades quickly.

Overall, an enjoyable low-abv beer, that I would like to have again. That slight harsh feel at finish might even be welcome in hot weather. Not knock-your-socks-off, but better than most in this vein.
