On tap at Strangebird Brewery in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head and lots of lacing.
This has a light amount of oakiness, some subtle vanilla, pine, and citrus.
Volume 1 was a bit more interesting than this one, with the amount that it had been funked up with the blending in of wild beer. This is just oak aged, but it does add a nice little creamy, oaky, and slightly vanillin note to a citrusy, and slightly piney IPA.
This is medium bodied, pretty crisp, and very drinkable.
Both of these collaborations were really tasty, but Volume 1 was my preference.
