This beer pours a clear golden color with lots of bubbles from the carbonation in it. The head is white, frothy, and 3 finger. The nose is is malty smelling, and slightly sweet. The taste is fairy light. A bit bland at first, but then some hops kick in. Fairly light feeling. Probably a better beer for a hot summer day, than in the dead of winter, but style wise, solid beer.

its not easy to make a good lager, especially a more traditional one like this, but these ladies have done an excellent job with this, a very light drinking, crisp and clean pale pilsener lager. the malt base is real light, less of the bready cereal aspect of pils malt, more of a pale simple base. the lager yeast is clean and fresh and it dries this right out, probably close to no residual sugar here at all. very very lively carbonation is just what it needs to sing, and sing it does. there is also a fine grassy hop bitterness, real subtle and hard to pick out when its ice cold, but it presents itself a little more as it warms up and its a nice balancing element that extends the flavor just enough. decent little body to this pale beer, not watery at all, just enough. i like everything about this beer, and honestly i liked most of the beer they make here about this well. some real know how in the brew house! tough to do this style this well, impressive for such a small and upstarty little operation!
