On draft. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of biscuity malt, toffee, caramel and some floral notes. Sweet bready malt, toffee and caramel with a mild bitterness.

Pours into a half liter stein a rich walnut brown with a blooming/rocky faintly tan colored head that settles very slowly,a brilliant crown!Aromas are mild, light nuttiness, caramel, and a tinge of iron.Flavors are not overly sweet, roasted nuts stand out most, mild caramel sweetness with drying finish.Very easy going down for the size, you would't think it's as big as it is.A well made if not somewhat delicate version of the style.
