Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy had with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of huge floral coffee notes with some lactose and nice black chocolate notes is super enticing. Taste is also a great mix of huge black chocolate notes with some lactose notes that offset any bitterness, some great floral coffee notes with a semi-sweet finish. Body is pretty full with good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Great coffee/lactose stout and probably one of the best beer from Laugar.

Enjoyed listening to the electric wizard track.
The tonka is great in this beer. The lactose brings a nice mouthfeel. Nice complexity.
A real gourmet treat!

330 ml bottle, Hops & Dreams, Seville - Pours jet black with a small thin tanned head. Medium carbonation. Aroma - Nutty tonka front - cinammon, roasted dark coffee, cocoa, roasted malts. Taste - Sweet, smooth, lactose, nutty tonka notes - cinammon, roasted dark coffee middle, roasted malts, medium bitter finish with a nice alcoholic warmth lingering. Very nice nutty milky impy.

Tasted at the Situation in a snifter glass. Pours a black colour, small head with short retention. Some lace. Aroma is mostly coconut, chocolate, vanilla, raisins. Medium to full body, viscous dense texture, flat carbonation. Taste follows the aroma. Good.

Dark brown color with mocha head. Smells like sweetened coffee, malt syrup and baker's chocolate. Taste is bittersweet, roasty, a bit astringent, quite coffee forward. Long, bitter and roasty aftertaste. Medium body with medium to low carbonation. Not very complex, roast forward RIS.

Got this one at the Guvel guy in Utrecht. Cheers!
From a bottle into a snifter
Best Before November 2022
APPEARANCE: Clear dark brown pour yields a two finger, medium looking, slightly creamy, light tan head with good retention. Clear black body with slightly higher levels of carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a full, creamy cap.
SMELL: Roasted malts, dark chocolate, cookie dough and touches of sweet cream. Chocolate brownie cake. Smells really nice but could be a bit bolder.
TASTE: Roasted malts, dark chocolate, light coffee notes and some cookie dough at the swallow. A big and persistent finish of chocolate brownies, roasted and bitter coffee and sweet cream with just a touch of booze. Flavorful and enjoyable.
PALATE: Medium body and medium levels of carbonation. Somewhat creamy on the palate, goes down fine and finishes a bit mouth-coating. Some heat lingers.
OVERALL: Solid stuff all around. Nice aroma and flavor profile and generally well put together. Have had a few of these Laugar brews and they always seem to be enjoyable. Give it a shot if you see it. Recommended.

From Labirratorium. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 4. Very coffee-forward, and maybe some vanilla. Smooth and full sip, with a well hidden abv. The more you drink of it the more you like it
