Dark brown with a slight ruby tinge when held to the light. Cloudy and hazy, no visible carbonation, topped with a half finger of beige head.

Smells of coffee, dark toasted malts, a sort of english brown ale quality. It has some fruity notes reminding me of raspberries, dark chocolate and toffee.

Fruity berries, sour and tart, dark brown toffee notes, more tartness, then a real solid bitterness. The bitterness is like that of unripe fruit, or unripe berries. The bitterness is really strong. There are hints of coffee as well, and a lot of dry fruitiness. At times I get cranberries.

Medium light body, moderate to low foamy carbonation. Very dry overall.

Got online, drinking in Chiang Mai, Dec 2nd, 2016. Impressed by the berry qualities and the fact its a collaboration effort with one of my favourite brewers, Cigar City.

From bottle, pours a hazey brown colour with a tan coloured head that disapates to a thin ring. Aroma pine, toffee, berries, jam, tarty. Taste pretty much follows the nose, very nice.

Pours dark brown with a small head.
Nose shows soft bready and nutty malt along with a hint of sweet sultanas.
Flavours include some toasty and nutty malt along with cardboard notes.
