The beer is pitch black with some carbonation. There is a nice tan head that thins out. There is a strong aroma of chocolate and coffee. The taste is similar with slightly more roasted malt flavor that adds a slight bitterness to the beer. The beer has good carbonation and a very smooth mouth feel.

A very good oatmeal stout with a silky smooth texture. Cocoa and coffee aromas and flavors dominate with a solid roasted malt backbone.
