Dark brown with ruby edges and a khaki head. Big dankness and pine in the nose. Taste follows the aroma extremely well with dank puckering hops taking over. Slight tropical fruit, big piney dankness, lemon. Only the slightest big of roasted malt providing complexity. Mouthfeel remains light to moderate. Unlike many black IPAs that end up tasting like hoppy porters this one really nails the style the way I like it. Delicious.
