Collaboration with E9 Brewing Co.

Five of Swords is an IPA we brew in collaboration with our friends Shane and Don from E9 Brewery in Tacoma. This batch was brewed with oats and hopped aggressively with Citra, Mosaic, Centennial and Simcoe.

Served in a snifter @ the brewery. Golden copper w/ slight haze, minimal head.

Aroma is mostly orange, Citra hops.

Taste is pale biscuity malt, orange/grapefruit w/ a sharp bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is clean and crisp, drinkable.

OVerall a nice citrusy IPA, probably more PNW than SoCal style.
