Bourbon barrel aged double oat brown ale.
We filled a rye whiskey barrel with King's Head and a large quantity of sweetheart cherries and aged it for 7 months. The coffee and chocolate characters of the base beer are complemented by the sweet cherries, which together with the barrel, add notes of leather, tobacco, and rye spice.
