Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large brown foamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes, chocolate malt with some nice bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes with some chocolate notes and bourbon and vanilla notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Very solid BA beer.

Pour: On draft at Holy Mountain Brewing in Seattle, WA. Appearance: Very dark brown, almost black in color. Thin white head with a fair amount of lacing. Aroma: Dominant coffee notes. Malt as well. Taste: Follows the nose with more pronounced coffee taste. Very dark and complex tasting. Hints of chocolate and toffee com through as well. Aftertaste: Follows the taste yet it gets more complex with each exhale. Alcohol notes really start to surface on the back end. Overall: Deep, dark and complex. Another great brew from Holy Mountain. Very good. 4.61 out of 5.
