Pour: On draft at Holy Mountain Brewing in Seattle, WA. Poured into a tulip glass. Appearance: Light gold to straw in color. No head present but does have a fair amount of lacing. Aroma: Lots going on here. Citrus, Brett funk and tart, hints of tropical fruit...peaches. Taste: Light and hoppy. Quaffable. Tart and funky. Definite notes of luscious fruit...peaches. Aftertaste: Finishes on the dry side yet retains the dank luscious fruit character. Overall: Really great offering. Very complex yet not overwhelming. Excellent. 4.74 out of 5

On tap at The Pine Box, Seattle
Crazy funky but I liked it a lot. The taste is all over the place: flat/hard, metallic, bitter, malty. But it's not over the top and that's what makes it so appealing. Everything is kept in chack and balanced. It's not like some beers that just throw a whole bunch of stuff and styles together to see what happens... and then they release it. Holy Mountain seems to have known exactly what they were doing. The flavours move like a dance instead of a fist fight. Don't go in expecting a saison because that's not even close to what this is.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and effervescence. Head is a thin layer of ivory foam that leaves a nice lace on the glass. Quite attractive indeed.
Smell: lightly tart and woody with a dash of funk and fruitiness. Low-volume, but a nice composition.
Taste: sweet malt with a light funk and sourness right at the edges of the tongue. The wood comes through lightly but with enough character to add a nice complexity. I dig it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess. I like it.
Overall: a very interesting beer. Holy Mountain seems to do a lot of interesting things. I love the idea of a Brett, barrel-aged small beer. Absolutely worth a try.
