Crisp clear golden 'beer' coloured liquid with a lovely finger and a half of soft white foam. Nice lacing as I sip down.
Crisp grassy aroma with some grainy/honey malts.
Creamy and smoothe and clean. Light sweet malts up front with a touch of resinous hops. They actually build a little bit with a more new-school profile than I personally prefer, so it cuts it back to a bit more of a sipper than I would typically think of for a kolsch.
Clean with a bright bite of carbonation.
Goes good with the grill heating up.

16oz can
An aggressive pour gives way to two fingers of white head into my willi becher glass. Retention is pretty nice and only fades a little over half way after a few minutes. Initial lacing looks great. Body is golden yellow, crystal clear, with a good amount of bubbles coming up. Looks very nice so far.
Nose is sulfur, mineral, honey, bread, sourdough. Smells well attenuated with a nice malt body. Not my favorite style, nor is sulfur, but this has a fair amount going on, and definitely checks off all the style boxes. Quite nice.
Honey hits immediately. Super light base malt, lighter than even sourdough, not really bready, comes out a little as it warms though. No sulfur, but very minerally. Noticeably bitter. Extremely attenuated. This is very crisp, clean and pretty refreshing - dryness is acceptable and not over the top.
Mouthfeel is very on style. High carbonation. Pretty light bodied. Quite dry, with just a hint of malt to smooth it out. Bitterness is on the higher end for the style, but not overwhelming.
Drinkability is super high.
Appearance turned out fantastic. Thick lacing all the way down, and a pretty solid head while it lasted.
Overall the flavor is a little light for me, it could use a little more honey or bread-like flavors, at times it seems a lot more like a pilsner than the hybrid I consider it to be. Still, for a crushable beer, which it generally should be, it succeeds with flying colors. Overall a solid beer that I’m sure my bias is slightly overshadowing.

Cloudy for a Kolsch with unpleasant funky aroma. Missing the fruity Kolsch yeast character. Nice and crisp. Would guess it was a blonde if tasted blind.
