500ml bottle at share. Dark, ruddy brown pour, small beige head. Deep, rich toasted malts first in the aroma, woody, boozy elements after. Taste is more of the rich, roasty malts, bourbon flavors accompanied with boozy accents and a nice warmth. Sumptuous.

This beer is a dark brown, with a big foamy tan head and thick lacing that coats the glass. The smell is mostly bourbon, and it's surprisingly low key for such a big beer. The taste is a lot of coffee, medium bourbon, and some caramel. It's just slightly sweet. The body is super smooth. This is an after dinner sipper, but it's not really a dessert beer or a pastry stout. The ABV isn't too noticeable, but then I'm sipping this slowly. An excellent beer, one that should be in the conversation about the best barrel aged beers in the PNW.
