This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like jammy raspberry, milk chocolate, and caramel.

I want a bit more barrel on this one and a bit less raspberry, but it's still enjoyable. The raspberry kind of dominates the other things, but it does meld well with the chocolate to make something like a chocolate covered raspberry truffle. The barrel is there, but definitely muted.

This is creamy, rich, and very drinkable, with a very little boozy warmth.

I've had other better barrel aged beers from Holy Mountain. I'm happy to have tried it, but the balance was maybe a little bit off.

First half of bottle was excellent, but noticed sludge around neck on opening. Second half poured very thick. Jiggly smoothie consistency. Gritty and seedy. Still tastes great, but texture is very off-putting. Hope other bottle is more homogenous.
