fun beer here, a golden pale, hoppy golden, whatever you want to call it, not overly malty, rather pils malt driven to me, but there are assuredly other pale grains in here, but its hop forward in a bitter way, almost all on the finish despite a bright dry hoppy nose, this combines elements from a bunch of different things into a drinkable and approachable but also subtly nerdy beer. this is clear and radiant, a shade darker than sunny colored, and holds its stiff white head. the nose is grassy like noble hops, but with some identifiable citra fruitiness too, lime, a weed note, and perhaps slightly vegetal to me, but that part isnt there in the taste. some biscuit and cracker character from the grain in this one, supports the hops well, but because its fermented down so dry, the bitterness pops in the finish, not off balance or anything, but its pretty bold for a beer that is otherwise rather light. some pine late, concentrated grapefruit and orange notes, still green but not in an oversaturated way, not at all. refreshing dryness and carbonation, and a lighter side of hoppy beer here overall. these guys do just about everything well, this one is summery but not delicate, good stuff.
