This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like sweet and decadent coconut, caramel, spicy oak, bourbon, and almond cream.
This walks a really fine line, balancing pastry decadence with good barrel aging. It’s hard to have delicious adjunctery while not overwhelming the tasty barrel character, and this does it quite well. There’s a nice spicy, oaky, caramelly, and bourbon-heavy barrel character on the finish, with a very pleasant coconut and almond sweetness. It’s also quite chocolatey and fudgy in a nice way.
This is thick, creamy, and not really boozy at all.
This one of the best stouts, and beers in general, that I’ve had from Holy Mountain.
