This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, tobacco, milk chocolate, orange peel, pine, and grapefruit.
This is super pleasant, with a very nice up front milk chocolate sweetness, with fades to roast, char, tobacco, and hop resin. As it warms, some orange and grapefruit notes become more noticeable.
This is creamy, but with a nice bite on the finish, with a great drinkability.
I don’t have black IPAs enough, but I always really enjoy them when I do.

Can into IPA Glass (Canned na)
Look: near black body, pouring a tan 1.5 finger, creamy head which slowly dissipated into
Smell: very much like a Guinness. Sweet toasty malt, coffee, coco nibs, and some pine. Medium ish strength
Taste: Coffee and coco nibs with a heavily toasted malt. Piney hops. Moderate bitterness. Finish mellows out, with the toasted malt and a hint of orange zest
Feel: medium bodied, moderate carbonation, creamy texture
Overall: it’s alright. Basically a piney and hoppy Guinness to me
