Copenhagen 5/9 2021.44 clean from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Drawing of some grumpy-looking vikings in bleak weather on the can.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a citric fruity scent. Sweet pale malts, citrus, lemon and hints of lemongrass.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Restrained and appropriately malty but with a light touch of citrus fruit.

look: one finger smooth white head which dissipates at a reasonable speed, beer is a hazy golden could with rushing carbonation in the beer.
smell: lovely fresh baked white bread, caramel, honey, grass, grain, biscuit, slight floral character from the hops, smells nice enough
taste: pretty standard stuff, lot of biscuity malt flavour, caramel, white bread, some honey sweetness, vanilla, earthy, hint of hefe-esque banana flavour, hint of orange, light bitterness on the finish, not bad.
feel: light to medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, bit watery, but very crushable and sessionable.
overall: not a very exciting beer by any means but not a boring one either, decent irish attempt at the style.
