On tap. Pours a very dark brown colour with a light brown head. Smells toasty and chocolatey, with treacle notes, for and a hint of bourbon vanilla. Tastes rich and full-bodied upfront: chewy sweet golden treacle, dark chocolate, notes of sticky tree fruits, big toasted malts and leads into vanilla and a bitter toast finish. Lingering dry hop palate lightens the overall taste and body. Big but balanced.
