look: one finger white head with decent retention, beer is a gorgeous amber colour, dense haze, no visible carbonation.
smell: smells like a strong hoppy beer alright, light bready malt, caramel, load of citrus fruit, juicy orange, lot of mango, some pineapple, lightly dank, smells alcoholic, light whiskey aroma, smells good.
taste: massive beer, like it should be, quite a bit of malt flavour, biscuity and bready, light on the citrus fruit, still a lot of mango, some papaya, tropical, caramel, lot of that resin-y hop flavour, little pine, little dank, big bitterness on the finish, lot of noticeable alcohol, lingering sweet fruit flavours on the finish, is nice.
feel: full bodied, light to medium carbonation, pretty smooth, lingering bitterness on the back of the tongue, lot of alcohol warming, to be sipped
overall: the name is reasonably apt, nice dipa here, heavy going but quite tasty.
