Copenhagen 17/10 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Colorful drawing on the can with a gentleman with binoculars and top hat, a lady in a red dress, a Tiger and a cat with a top hat recklessly ballooning.

Pours hazy, golden yellow with big white head. Fairly stable. Settles ads thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor with hints of exotic fruit mingling with a stronger sour and citric odor. Caramel and peach. Citrus and lemon.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, soft, almost flat texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

Decent Indian Pale Ale.

look: two finger white head with excellent retention and a lil lacing, beer is a super murky hazy amber colour, opaque.

smell: smells decent, little more malt character than you would anticipate, white bread and biscuit, but plenty of fruity juicy aroma too, orange and mango predominately, let’s see what happens.

taste: ok that’s quite tasty, nice malt flavour, white bread, biscuit, caramel, lots of fruit flavour, orange, orange pith, lemon, grapefruit, mango, papaya, lot of resinous hop flavour, lightly dank, light to medium bitterness on the finish, tasty stuff.

feel: medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, lingering bitterness on the back of the tongue, dangerously drinkable for its strength.

overall: quite a solid neipa here, on the verge of being very very good, another good beer here from yellowbelly.
