Pours translucent deep brown with a one inch khaki head that settles to a thin film on top. Roasted malt, toasted bread, hazelnut and a hint of caramel. A solid English brown ale.

On tap at Rok House Brewing Company in Upland, CA.
Pours a clear dark crimson-brown with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, roasted nut, and caramel aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, nut, and caramel flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid toast, nut, and caramel aspects that are slightly better in the smell to me.
Serving type: on tap.
