Moderate hoppy (herbal, some citrus) and light-to-moderate malty (grains) aroma with notes of fruits.
Moderate bitter and light-to-moderate sweet flavour; average-lasting bitter finish.

Staying at the Floetzinger Brewery Guesthouse (Hotel/Pub) for 4 nights in September 2012, I got a chance to become well aquainted with this excellent beer. Normally they would have this on tap, but had just installed a new manifold and only Helles, Dunkel and Weissbier were available on tap at this time.
The Pils however, is a remarkable beer, pale as pale can be, crystal clear, lovely hop nose, lovely bitterness and no sickly aftertaste, just that lovely hoppy grip on the back of the tongue, which hangs around until your next glass. Well balanced, fine pils beer. I have been brewing for over 10 years, and this style is what I seek to emulate.
I suggest anyone on tour to visit FB, and stay a few nights. The hotel was built in 1543 and has a real atmosphere. The cooking is excellent, really good solid Bavarian cooking. And at 39Euro for bed and breakfast, a solid bargain.
