Copenhagen 17/6 2023. 44 cl can from N’Bro Kiosken, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Black can with a cat’s head.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruit mingling with a sharp citric scent. Peach and mango. Touch of Passion fruit. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a ripe sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Fine, not too boozy DIPA.

330 ml bottle, from Systembolaget, shared by my son Steinar. ABV is 8.0%. Cloudy yellow colour, white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus, tropical fruits and pine. Hoppy flavour, fruity and piney, but the bitterness is not extreme. Nice beer.

At 27th of October I cracked open this bottle, just to realize that the Best Before date states 19th of March of the same year.

Hazy, bright yellow color with slightly off-white head. Really dank aroma with dill and fresh onion. Taste starts slightly sweet and vegetal, like caramelized onions with lots of green hop flavor. Medium body with smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Overall it's a great hazy, juicy DIPA with really good drinkability.

The beer has a hazy golden yellow color.
The foam is white with small to large bubbles in amounts.
The foam disappears at a leisurely pace, leaving very fine grooves.
Was a bit of a foam explosion in the beginning so you had to pour gently.
The aroma that meets a is fruity with some hops tones.
Great aromas of orange marmalade, honey and sweet.
Small aromas of citrus and grapefruit.
The taste did not live quite up to expectations.
The beer is fruity but not so humlig as I expected.
Some bitterness that has little citrus and grape itself, then comes a thin hops.
A little mango, caramel and some grass.
The beer has a feeling of marmalade in itself, with its sweetness and honey tone.
Medium body, with good sweetness.
Bitterness finish, with an upcoming sweetness.
Occasionally with carbonic acid.

The colour is pale gold (6 EBC), the liquid is clear. The two finger head sinks slowly into a thin white lid leaving no lacing. There is some floaties and sediment in the bottom of the bottle.
The smell is bitter-sweet with citric notes – lemon, grapefruit, bitter oranges and green bananas. Resin, perfume, wood and a touch of tar.
The taste is at first very bitter with passing notes of lemon peel and resin. Growing clean alcohol, lime juice, passion fruit and ripe plums. Full body. The aftertaste is quite smooth with bitter herbs, heavy alcohol, ripe oranges and grapefruits. Semi-sweet caramel and fruit candy, orange milkshake and hints of harsh hops and burned plastic. Some toffee and leather in the dense finish.
The carbonation is smooth; the small bubbles are short-lived in the mouth. The liquid is harsh and a little thick.
Quite a sweet harsh and thick DIPA with some off-flavours.

Batch 476. Best before June 2, 2017.
The beer pours hazy, yellow with a lot of sediments and a one finger high, white head.
Not to much lacing stays on the glass.
Nose: Great nose of orange, pine, resin, peach, hay, grass and honey.
Taste: I’m a little disappointed here! The nose promised so much... Mango, grapefruit, resin, caramel malt and grass. The hops is a little bit tired... Not what I expected when I took a sniff of the beer.
I give it one more try... Yep! The nose is great! Fresh, and tasty! To bad the taste isn’t there.
Mouth: Medium body. Light carbonation. Sweet and a bitter ending. Nice!
I’m having a hard time to rate this beer - It’s like a rollercoaster, ups and downs but a nice experience!
