Copenhagen 14/12 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Blue can with big 1970-ish 3D letters in yellow and orange saying “Bootsy”.
Pours opaque, hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fruity sweet odor of exotic fruit mingling with citrus fruits. Peach and pineapple. Lemon and grape fruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry with a notable presence of alcohol.
Quite bitter, potent and dry. Nice one to get booted by.
