Nice wheat beer, mild sweet citrus with no overt hoppiness, dry finish. Pale amber color. Effervescent summer beer, enjoyable with seafood, burgers, casual food.

L - Slightly hazy pale amber. Pours with a 1cm head, reducing to a ring. Decent ongoing rising carbonation.
S - Fresh, citrus with some ceder notes.
T - Straight into some zesty pudding with more aromatic/perfumed hints at the end, finally into a light hoppy dryness.
M - Some lively carbonation in the mouth yields a refreshing brew.
O - A little sweet for my palate and the perfumed notes are not my thing either. [That said, I prefer dryer beers on the punchier end of the scale, so unfortunately this brew started with an inherent handicap for me].

'Færder Belgian Light is an interpretation of the Belgian wheat beer Wit. It has a bright and slightly turbid appearance, white foam top and a sweet and spicy scent. The flavor is consistently mild, this is a beer with very little hops and thus little bitterness. Yet it is easy to drink, and the wheat, spices and yeast strain is allowed to make its mark on flavor. Enjoyed by 4-6 ° C. 4.7% vol. Alc, 11.5 ° Plato, 11 IBU, 8 EBC A mild beer that can be drunk alone or in combination with summery, light cuisine.'
