Enjoyed at the brewery
A - Poured a nice clear chestnut hue with a thin of white head that fades to leave a thin halo and light lacing
S - Aromas of light chocolate and malts, faint coffee, more so citrus hops, orange peel...almost like a super light black ipa.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, more chocolate and coffee, good faint roast. Citrus hops come out nicely, though over power the brown ale notes. Again, drinks more like a light black ipa.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, drinks real easy, alcohol hidden nicely.
O - Overall this is the flavor and aroma the brewer was going for, but, a bit hop assertive for the typical brown ale. A nice deviation, but, hard to call this a brown ale. That said, it's still quite tasty.
